$7,500 Home Grant for Down Payment!

The Salt Lake Board of Realtors has announced $7,500 home grants to be awarded to deserving families or individuals each quarter throughout the year. These grants will be available for the following groups of buyers:

• First Time Home Buyers
• Single Parents
• First Responders
• School Teachers
• Veterans

$7,500 American Dream Grant Details:

The American Dream Grant provides eligible households with $7,500 in assistance funds that may be used toward down payment.
These grant funds are available on a quarterly basis throughout the year and each quarter will rotate the recipient of the grant among the eligible groups (see above).

• Grant funds supplied by the Salt Lake Board of Realtors
• Must qualify for a mortgage and supply a pre-approval letter
• Must be a first-time homebuyer
• Minimum credit score 640
• Household income limits apply. These are determined by number of people in the household
• Must purchase a property within 90 days after accepting the grant
• Buyer must work with a Realtor for help in purchasing the property
